hi I had an emcs in January with my daughter and I'm due baby number 2, 2 days before her first birthday. Im attempting a vbac and have nothing but support from my midwife & consultant so I would definitely ask your doctor

congrats on it pregnancy as well x

I had an emcs august 21st last year and i am having another section in 8 weeks, 19 months apart x

Hi.
I had an Emcs in April and am pregnant again, I am requesting another c section as my labour and Emcs was really scary, so I want a calm experience this time (as calm as a c section can be) and my main consideration is that me and bubs are OK.
My doctor/midwife have said its fine to be be pregnant again.

Sorry for rambling.
Good luck and try not to worry, not easy I know. X

The consultant that did my emcs said that after 3 months most people are fully recovered and if I was to get pregnant quickly (my baby died) the previous section wouldn't mean that I'd need another one. In fact if baby was in the right place (the one that died was breech) they wouldn't recommend section but if I wanted one I could.

Im having an elective c section (big baby / husband's genes!) and I plan on getting pregnant 5 months later so I'm relieved to see this thread! My friend did it 5 months later and she is fine just toying with the idea of a vbac or c again. Congratulations!!

Jaydee so very sorry for your loss

I had an emergency section with my daughter 14 weeks later we were pregnant with planned baby number 2. My midwife and consultant are very happy for me to attempted vbac and have no concerns. I would really not just go with what everyone says. My first labour was so traumatic. but instead of just opting for an elected section I have read Natel Hypnotherapy to get rid of my labour fear. so now I hope to go into labour calmy but if i do get an emergency section I am mentaly prepeared for it but would like to give labour ago seen as this is probably going to be my last baby
