Hi all been taking pregnacare conception for a week now and for the past few days ive been feeling really tired headaches nauseous and not feeling myself at all! Anyone else taking these and had any weird things goin on? Debating wether to stop taking them? X

the only thing i had was 4 a week my bowl movements were abit different!! but after that they went bk 2 normal!! i think they are really good also my wee is like neon yellow hahahah lol xx

no side effects from me, in fact I have felt much better in myself since taking them

Yeah I had the neon yellow wee too! I think once your body gets used to them it settles down and you go back to normal.

For me I think my body was just in a bit of shock that it was actually getting some vitamins and not just the usual toast it gets given!! :haha:
xx

I just have not been feeling myself all week feeling really rough! Lol! X

Well if you are in the 2ww I would be saying test!:haha: If not it may be the B vitamins playing silly buggers with you, the dosage may just be too high for your body and they can give you headaches etc. If it doesnt settle, just drop the pre-natal and take a stand alone folic acid, its the most important one out of the lot.

Thats what i think i might do just go back to my folic acid! Can be preggers i wish lol just finished with the witch but lets hope this month is mine! X x

Hi Everyone! :hugs:

I'm new to this forum . I started taking pregnacare conception 12 days ago and although I noticed an almost immediate dramatic improvement in cervical Mucus (quality and quantity), I've been having a lot of pelvic pain/pressure/burning sensation since I started taking them. Anyone else experiencing this?

I have noticed the neon yellow wee too! I had headaches for the first few days of taking them but they seem to have gone now.

The only other thing I have noticed is an increase in CM which I take as a good thing! x

Neon yellow wee too ... nothing else. Think my body is grateful for the vitamins

This is interesting! I've been reading loads of threads on here over the past few days and I was a bit embarrassed to ask how you know what ewcm is and then I read this thread! yay

I started conception vits on Friday and we bd'd for the first time unprotected on Saturday and since then when I wipe even today I found what I thought was semen still on the paper (so sorry TMI!)
So it could be ewcm??? This would explain it! lol

i have been taking them for 2 weeks and founf they make my pee yellow and my poo black lol! other that that i had ewcm fr the first time on them so thein they are doing theur job!! just wish they were cheaper!

how much are they schnoodle:hugs:

Been on them for almost a month, no side effects so far. The doc said they're fine.

Make sure you take them with your fullest meal and a good cup/ glass of water afterwards though, otherwise you may get stomach upset.

All that said, each body has different reactions to different things. If you keep feeling unwell, you may want to investigate this a bit further.

Hope you feelin' better soon :flower:

i am taking the boots mum-to-be tablets and had problems with going to the loo the first week or so of using them - the problem being i couldnt stop!! it has since calmed down this is now day 15 and i do feel alot better for taking them.
they are also on 3 for 2 offer at the moment and alot less expensive that pregnacare, after comparing the ingredients all but one is missing - but in the mum-to-be's there are higher qtys for some of the RDA vitamins so it equals out. no yellow wee and black poo for me - just alot more of it !! i read that your body will flush out any additional folic acid that it doesn't need. you will also find that in most cereals these days folic acid and vitamins are included - if you have 2 bowls of special k in a day i think its all of your recomended daily allowance!
i wouldnt stop taking folic acid though if you are ttc its better to take it, it can't do your body any harm and will be beneficial to your little bubba in the long run

@cla they're around £9.95 for a 30 day supply in the shops.
I got mine from amazon for about £6.20 and the last lot I bought were a BOGOF deal on the vitabiotics website.
Not cheap but worth it, in my opinion. x

Been on them for 3 months, no side effects so far:flower:
