I would really like to hear from moms who continued to nurse during pregnancy..

how long did you carry on nursing for?
could you manage through the morning sickness?
when did your milk change to colostrum and did your baby refuse it then?
did you have to eat a lot more ?
did you find it difficult?
and for anyone who had GD, did this affect you?

thanks, I am really concerned about this

- how long did you carry on nursing for?
I'm 3 and a half months now and am still nursing, usually only once a day as my milk has drastically decreased.

- could you manage through the morning sickness?
Yes

- did you have to eat a lot more ?
I did up until she reduced her feeds

If you can get hold of a copy, have a look at a book called Adventures In Tandem Feeding, it covers breastfeeding through pregnancy in some real depth. I highly recommend it.

wow you say your milk drastically decreased? well the thing is kaya is much older than my LO , so she was already a year when you got preg, this worries me so much as my baby on nurses full time , like 5 times a day.

could a mod bump this for me, i really would like to hear from people , can this thread have a second chance please?
