Who was the first person you told: My friend laura who was with me when i found out and then i rang the FOB straight after to tell him.
How did you tell the father: I rang him, he already knew i was going to the doctors to do a test and told me to ring him after when i found out if i was or not.
What was his reaction: Very shocked but excited and happy at the same time.

When is your due date: 12th January 2009
Did you have any morning sickness: Yes, i still have it now all day!
What are your fears: Miscarriage, something bad happening to my little one.
What are you most happy about: Having a little son/daughter to care and love for
Did you want a boy or girl: Would love a boy but would be very pleased with a little girl
What did the father want boy or girl: He wants a boy.
Do you know what your having: Not yet, i find out in few weeks Woohoo will be finding out hopefully

How much weight have you gained: No idea, dont know what i weighed before i was pregnant
Have you felt the baby move: Not yet, cant wait till i can!

Do you plan on a natural or medicated birth: Will most likely be having medication as im a softie an wont be able to cope
Are you scared about labor: Yes, soooo scared!
What do you think will be the worst part of labor: The pain, and if i have any problems.

What was your reaction: I physically shook. Couldn't hold my hands straight and then did another test.

How did you tell the father: Phoned him, eventually
What was his reaction: Very upset, confused and guilty.

When is your due date: Christmas Week. Internet works it out as boxing day, doctor says 28th.
Did you have any morning sickness: 7 - 9 weeks were hellish
What are your fears: Baby ending up without a Dad, health problems, having a c-section and getting post-natal depression
What are you most happy about: Getting the chance to be a Mum, even if it's early
Did you want a boy or girl: I always said I'd want a girl but as soon as I found out I just didn't know. I just want one of each so badly! A boy would be amazing
Does the father want a boy or a girl: I haven't asked him, he seems pretty content with an Ixxy. He likes to give it pats.
Do you know what your having: Nope! Team !
Do you have a name picked out: Yes, boys and girls name, but FOB might want a say depending on how involved he gets.
How much weight have you gained: Lost about 10lbs, belly is bigger though
Have you felt the baby move: I think so, very late at night or if I wake up - very light movements.

When you have the baby

Do you plan on a natural or medicated birth: Gas and Air to the max. Having an epidural shares the heck out of me, heard too many horror stories, and my Mum had a failed one herself.
Are you scared about labor: Nope. No point in being scared, bubs has got to come out somehow.
What do you think will be the worst part of labour: Ripping/being cut if needs be just because of the thought of it - the final couple of pushes are probably a bit nasty too.
Have you taken any classes: Not till October.
Who will be in the delivery room: Faye; this is her ultimate contraception lesson.
Are you having the birth videotaped: No because Faye will be screaming , would kinda like it but not fussed.
Do you think you will cry when you see the baby for the first time: I think, if it's anything like staying up alnight delivering puppies then I will be too exhausted to cry.
What do you think the fathers reaction to the baby will be: He will be very happy and love him or her very much, possibly cry but he doesn't really cry ever. He loves babies generally.
How do you think family and friends will feel: Excited for me and the new chapter of my life, also a little futile but that's ok

Did you have any morning sickness: Awful! I couldn't eat for the first 20 weeks was passing out and alsorts, went off so much food
What are your fears: When I went for my 12 week scan I was soo scared she'd say nothing was there.
What are you most happy about: I was most happy about finally meeting her.
Did you want a boy or girl: I was on and I didn't mind!

Are you scared about labor: No I was really excited and I really can't wait to experience it again.
What do you think will be the worst part of labor: For me the worst bit was the waiting as I was induced, I was glad to be in pain when I was and I thought it'd be much worse than it was.

Are you having the birth videotaped: I really would consider this as I was so high on G&A I'd of liked to of watched it back and see LO born.

When you found out.
When did you find out: 9th April, 6 days after my 18th
Where did you find out: At the doctors, having a routine pregnancy test before swapping to a different Pill.
How far along were you: 5 weeks 3 days
What was your reaction: Help. I almost fainted, the nurse had to get me some water!
Who was the first person you told: I texted my mum who was waiting in the car outside.
How did you tell the father: I was planning to wait until I saw him alone that night, but we work together and at work that afternoon, as he knew I was having the routine test, he joked "So are you preggers then?" and I said "I'll talk about it later, everything was fine." and he was like "What do you mean!?!?" so I had to tell him in the middle of work at a busy time.
What was his reaction: At first? Angry but said it was upto me if I kept it. Then angry when I said I was. Then full of hatred and resentment, so we split up. But after a scan at 10 weeks where he saw baby wave, and he kinda mellowed. And apologised ALOT, and we slowly started to try 'us' again. And now he seems excited.

When is your due date: 7th December
Did you have any morning sickness: Yes, terrible. I got really dehydrated and have been put off work since with sickness and real low blood pressure (I work in a fast food restaurant with no air conditioning, it'd put risks to my/baby's health if I fainted from heat etc.)
What are your fears: Something going wrong, baby dying etc I won't feel safe until he or she is in my arms!
What are you most happy about: Becoming a mummy, the pregnancy stage is pretty rubbish, I feel awful and worry too much and we're not even half way through yet!
Did you want a boy or girl: I'd prefer a boy, but I don't mind.
What did the father want boy or girl: He'd prefer a girl but he doesn't mind either.
Do you know what your having: Not yet, find out on the 24th July
Do you have a name picked out: We both like Alastair for a boy, Melody for a girl, but they're not final names.
How much weight have you gained: Not much actually, considering the vast amount of food I've consumed, but I sometimes struggle to put weight on, and the morning sickness didn't help. I think I've gained 4lbs at most?
Have you felt the baby move: Yeah, its awesome when baby moves, terrifying when he/she has a quiet day though!

Do you plan on a natural or medicated birth: I doubt I could do natural, but same goes for epidural, hoping I get pethidine or something similar, my mum had it and fell asleep between pushes!
Are you scared about labour: Not really, cos its the final stage before I get to see and hold my baby.
What do you think will be the worst part of labour: If OH says anything stupid and insensitve, like "hurry up".. "how long do you think now?" or "It can't hurt that much!" no matter how funny it may seem to him or anyone else, I will wallop him!

Are you having the birth videotaped: NO WAY! OH has joked about it, and he has been warned that if he tries, it'll only capture the inside of which ever orifice of his I decide to ram it in!

Did you have any morning sickness: yes, right at the start. but it went away at exactly 12 weeks.
What are your fears: having a c-section, baby not crying when born, baby not latching on. god, i could go on and on lol.

Did you want a boy or girl: not bothered at all. but now that i have been told i am having a boy, im over the moon.
