pregnant after daughter

Just a general wondering here.
My mom has been with her new bf for 2 years and she wants another baby but she thinks its weird since my sister just had a baby and I'm due in a couple months. I don't think it would be weird for her to have a baby now, what do you think?

I grew up in an area with large families, and many of my friends had nieces and nephews their age or older than them, or aunts and uncles that were younger than them. It's not weird at all, if that is what she wants.

I don't think its weird. It's awesome. I had my baby in January, and my granddaughter was born in march. They are 10 weeks apart. I love seeing my daughter and granddaughter growing up together. : ).

Im due in Dec & my daughter is due April - My daughter finds it a bit weired but not too weired to move out lol.

I am 37 & she is 21 - so both of child bearing age x

It's not at all unusual in a lot of communities...my grandma's younger brother was born at the same time her big sister's first child came. If a woman starts a family young, she's still fertile when her older children start families.

I don't see why she shouldn't have another child if she wants one. The fact that you and your sister are going to have children at about the same time means there will be same-age nieces or nephews for her baby to grow up with.

(This will never be my problem, since this baby is my first, and by the time she's out of high school, I will be in the tail end of my fifties.)
