Pregnant after having tubes clamped

Evening Ladies,

I'm not sure where to post this or if there is a good place to post this so if its wrong i am sorry in advance.

After having my daughter in February I had my tubes clamped due to sever pre eclampsia in both of my pregnancies.

My question is has anyone gotten pregnant after having this done? Last week I was expecting my period and felt pretty crappy but all I got was some discharge with a pink tint to it, Since then I have had heavy discharge but no bleeding. Last night I felt so sick I hardly got any sleep. Is this my mind just over reacting to things or is this possible/Has anyone been through it? Is it even worth me going and getting a test?

I have heard that there is a very slim chance of it happening but it does happen. If ur periods are regular and it hasnt showed u should definitely do one to put ur mind at ease.

This thread scared me! I just had my tubes clamped when I had my daughter a couple of weeks back.

They did tell me that 1 in 200 women will get pregnant within a year or something like that, but that it would likely be ectopic.

Definitely take a test!

I really wouldn't worry about a pregnancy. You can test but 99.9% you are not pregnant
