looks like we r in the same boat pretty much purple...i hope this is what we needed to get our bfp's...how long have u been tryin if u dont mind me asking?

its been 3 years bit pissed off they didn't spot the polyps sooner

when did u have yours removed?

Hi girls,

I am scheduled to have a hysteroscopy to remove a polyp from my uterus and a laprascopy to try to unblock my second possibly blocked tube on 08/29/12, because I only have one for sure open tube and I found it out in the HSG I had before.

So I am in the same boat as you ladies!! I have been TTC for 3 years since my DH had a vasectomy reversal! I really hope this does the trick and we all get our FP's!! Good luck and baby dust to you ladies!!:dust::dust::dust:

I will come back and do an update to let you girls know how my surgery goes and you ladies will have to update to let us know how it turns out for you guys also!!

well i mc in june of 09...tried for 7 mths after that...nothin...planned our wedding and got married an didnt start tryin again till may of 2011...and been tryin ever since...im so hopin these polyps were the reason i wasnt able to get pregnant...prayin for bfp's for us all!

i was also put on bcp for the month so my lining was thin enough for them to see the ployps without havin to cut too much thru my lining...so i started period june 26th...took first bcp on day 3...then 2 days after the procedure i ended the last of thr bcp pills and also got my period again for a week...so im all over the place...who knows when this next period is even gonna come ya know...next month im gonna take the femara agin if no success this month

I had a uterine polyp removed on 5/11 and after a year and a half of ttc, I got a bfp on 6/24, currently about 10 weeks pg. It had to be the polyp that prevented us from conceiving sooner. I also used preseed the month we conceived (first time we injected it--sorry tmi), but I think it helped.

I had a polyp removed in late March and got pregnant my first ovulatory cycle after the surgery (June). I'm now 10 weeks!

This may be a bit long, not sure, BUT It's all honest, accurate and up to date info! We had been ttc for 2.5 yrs then I finally went to doc, she said I have a uterine polyp. So...with no health insurance I found a place that was gonna charge roughly 7,000 to complete an HSG (ink test for Fallopian tubes) as well as the hysterescopy(removal of polyp). Well-that's way too much money so I put it on the back burner UNTIL I couldn't take the sadness anymore so I looked again and THANKFULLY found another fertility doc who would charge 3,500 for both as well. The reason why it was such a BIG diff in $ was that this new site has ON site surgery and the other didnt. So it was all kinds of costs! Ridiculous, 7,000!

Well-I finally had the appt scheduled and Done! 😊 It was quite an experience. Morning of the exam I showed up in comfortable clothes and took a prescribed valum upon arrival. Boy-I needed it. It truly eased my anxiety. So if you're gonna get this done...I recommend asking doc for a prescription just for one pill or maybe 2 (for the night prior to exam-that's what I did). Ok, so, first they did the HSG and I was able to see for myself the Ink travel through BOTH tubes. Which is good! No problems there! BUT there was a pretty visibly big polyp. So after the HSG they wheeled me on over to surgery and OUT I went with the anesthesia. Next thing I know...I'm waking up in recovery room with very nice nurses. Recovery was rough, not gonna lie. The first two days are the toughest. Just heavy cramping that is bearable w pain meds but they made me sleep so I was very groggy. Two days later I felt fine! I will admit tho...the IV or the antibiotics made my stool very soft and runny. (TMI! I know-but warning you guys incase you get this surgery done! 😊)

Well today was my follow up appt to speak with doc. She removed the catheter! And showed me pics of the polyp during surgery and then the after pic with my uterus all nice n clean!!! Also...there turned out to be 3 polyps (not just the 1 that we knew was there all along). Doc says those polyps could have definitely been a factor in implantation!! In her words "big bad wolf was sleeping in Goldie locks bed" ha.

She wants me to start trying next month!! After 3 years of TTC I hope and pray I am able to get pregnant now.

Baby Dust and Prayers for ALL of us. ✨✨✨✨

Wow! Congrats!!!!!!! That's awesome. How long had you been ttc before the polyp removal? I had 3 removed 9 days ago. Hopeful!! Thanks for sharing.

Yes I had one removed last summer. I'm now 6 weeks pregnant. I posted my story below '2 yrs 8 months, PCOS & clomid'

Good luck xx

I had the polyps removal surgery in aug 2012, and this month I did and hsg and dr told me I have polyps again. Has anybody had multiple hysteroscopy and d&c? So close to each other?
