I had a medium-sized polyp removed Jan 2012. Then TTC for a couple of months without success. By Aug 2012, the EVIL polyp is back. 
Even doc was surprised it recurred this fast. I was gutted, I thought it's not possible.
I stopped trying to get pregnant. What's the point of hoping anyway? Then last month, I really had a bad cramping and spotting before AF, I was sure it's that evil polyp again. I told GP but ultrasound was only scheduled a week after. I wanted to get another polypectomy, not for TTC but just for health reasons. During the ultrasound, the sonographer cannot find any polyp. I asked her to keep looking cause I'm sure it must be dangling somewhere and irritating my uterus. I asked her to insert and navigate deeper (sorry TMI) but NOTHING!! Polyp miraculously vanished! I said to her, I'll be back closer to AF and I'm sure you'll see that wicked thing. I told her, when just before AF I always have spotting and when that happens I'll ring their office and I want a scan.
And so I waited to get that spotting but for some reason, the spotting never came, and so does AF.. Weirdly, I have AF symptoms, tender boobs, cranky, crampy, and nauseated, but no spotting..
DH and I were not really trying, only dtd once during my mid-cycle. I almost can't believe it, I'm now 5 weeks 3 days pg...
