Pregnant and now single :(

Hi. I am popping over from first tri. My OH and and I were ttc for 17months before I finally got my . Now he has deicded he doesn't "want to be tied down" with me or a baby and walked out on me. Anyway I just wondered if anyone else became single when they were pregnant and how they managed through the pregnancy and after the baby was born? I am just wondering cos now I am not sure what to do

Hey sweetie...I'm right there with you. My guy walked out at 7 weeks, came back a few weeks ago and walked out again. Not gonna lie to you, it's been a tough road so far. The other ladies on here tell me the pregnancy is the hard part, but the baby makes it all worth it. Message me if you want to talk...I'd be happy to listen to you vent, give you a virtual "shoulder" or whatever I can do to help.

I myself was in the same situation with my first child. I was around 11 wks. I went through the whole pregnancy and birth alone, well without him anyway. My family was very supportive. I had to make a decision as to whether or not he was even going to be apart of my daughters life. I decided that it was best to part ways, because he was heavily into drugs and only came or wanted to come around at odd times. So it was the best decision for me and my daughter. I don't regret the choice i have made, because she has a "father" He has been in her life since she was about 1. Even though he is not her biological father he has taken her as his own, and has been an amazing father to her. I all comes down to what it best for the child I think anyway...Good luck with everything! Don't spend all of your time worrying. You will make the right choice when it is time too.

I am not pregnant but we all know the hurt and the pain you are feeling. Its not good.. I suppose you feel like you have been kicked in the teeth being that you were trying for a baby!!
I left my ex after mothers day because I just couldnt be happy with being bottom of his list. No matter who leaves who or who walks away it still hurts and it takes a lot of support and courage to get over it but you can and you will..

Im here 10 weeks on and Im happy with my life! Happy with being single and having my girls. Happy to support myself in any way I can..
