Pregnant at 17!

Hi guys, I am new to this site. I got my BFP on July 18th. My first appointment is August 12th. If my calendars and calculators are correct I would be due March 19th, 2014. I would be 5 weeks and 5 days today.

I am just on here to meet some people and get support and help throughout my pregnancy.

I just want to know how to tell my parents (in a fun and happy way).

Yes, I am happy about being pregnant. I wasn't trying to conceive but I definitely wasn't preventing it. I graduated when I was 16 years old, live alone, and have(had) a great paying job. So before you start yelling bible quotes at me keep that in mind haha. Thanks guys!

Telling your parents definitely won't be fun but the sooner you do it the better. My mom was mad for a while but she's had alot of time to get used to the idea. Goodluck!

I told my in-laws by giving them the first scan in a frame, it was wrapped, and we figured it was a fun, cute way and no words were needed!

Dont worry about anyone judging you, after all young mum DOESNT mean bad mum. Only you know if your ready for a hugeee change, as for telling your parents i was so worried, i expected the worse.. But it couldnt of been any more different, i had a few questions like 'where are you going to live etc' then literally 10 minutes later my mum was really excited & has been since
