Pregnant at 42

Stupidly did my pregnancy test at midnight so can't share the news with anyone
It's funny my cut off point for being pregnant was 40 and after turning 40 I feel pregnant that month our little one is 13 mths we decided we would try for one more and after it taking a few years to conceive him we thought better get on with it am happily surprised how quickly it's happened due in August

SOOooo happy for you!! I am also 42 but I don't know if I will fall pregnant, this December is my cut off point. I have 3 boys 21 18 and 12 and I lost my Ava at 20 weeks pregnant when I was 40 years old , she was a total surprise to us, so now I am just a little scared of getting pregnant again. So we will see what happens, I have been trying for 3 months but nothing yet.

Stop trying I know that's easier said than done but with my 13mth old 40 was my cut off point and once I turned 40 and resigned myself to the fact it wasn't going to happen so basically took pressure off I was pregnant the following month
Sorry for your loss try and focus on the positives xx good luck

Same thing here. I stopped trying the cycle after I turned 42. Guess what?? I'M PREGNANT. Due Aug 20, 2013. Well, that's what they say now. LOL, as we all know, that is subject to change after the first u/s.
