So, Lachlan will be 9 months at Christmas and I'm not too sure what to get him. I was having a look at some activity tables, they said 9-36 months I think? But apart from that I really have no idea. Is there anything any of your 9 month olds like?

Thanks girls!! :winkwink:

ur wee man was born the day after my LO. So far ivre got him:
Ladybug little trike
mega blocks
Shape sorter with sticklebrick shapes
bouncing tigger
car garage - suitable from 12months
books
fisher price animal train

il have to keep an eye on this thread to see what everyone else is getting their LOs

Mine is around that age, for Christmas he is having:

Thomas the Tank Activity Table (not avalible new anymore but there are lots on ebay and go for around £10 - £15 or less if you can collect)
Fisher Price Animal Train
Extra crocodile toy for animal train.
A toddle truck with bricks, like this: https://www.elc.co.uk/Wooden-Toddle-Truck---Red/123580,default,pd.html
A large Tigger cuddly toy
Stacking rings
Hide and Squeak eggs
Soft football (around £1 in Ikea, such a bargain!)
Stacking cups
Lil' Peanut Doll
Boat for his bath
Push and Go Thomas the Tank
Books (Mr Men, "Thats Not My" books, baby signing books)

I know that is a lot  we didn't spend a lot (all second hand, reduced or bargains in other ways) but ended up with a lot of things.

As the animal train was second hand we needed to check it worked and things before putting it away, my husband brought him in the room just as I set it off and he was fascinated by it so I think it is going to be a big hit.

Thanks girlies, isn't it exciting buying toys, eeek!! I adore looking at toys for Lachlan! The only problem is, I know if I buy something I'm going to want to give it to him right afterwards :dohh: I have no self control!

Ooh and btw, I notice you both bought the Fisher Price Animal Train, I might have to check it out.

Kaylum's going to be 9 month at Xmas too ... here's what he's got so far:

Stacking cups/beakers (£1.49 in IKEA, about £6 everywhere else - what a bargain!!)
Ikea Soft Football (£1)
IKEA wooden stacking Rings (£5.99 - cheaper than anywhere else)

Push along dog (he's cruising furniture already so he will probably be walking by Xmas or shortly after)
Pull along pelican
Vtec Baby Laptop
In the Night Garden Soft Skittles
Fisher Price Amazing Animals Tug Boat
Playskool Explore n Go push n stack

All of the above 6 from Boots 3 for 2 Mix & Match :happydance:

He'll also get a bedroom lullaby light show of some kind, a Sockville Sock Monkey and hopefully the most gorgeous little rocking horse that I'm watching on ebay.

I'm also thinking of getting him the Mothercare Smart Trike which is half price at the moment .... he won't be big enough for it by Xmas but he will be before next Xmas if that makes sense. I kind of figure that, although he has his birthday in March, what he gets now will have to last him almost a year in terms of development

poppy will be 9 month as well, since her grandparents, aunts and uncles have already got her tons. me and oh are getting things we really like.

pink converses
ugg boots
a christmas outfit
lots of baby hair accessories
toys

so far but more will be added x

also got him Leapfrog MY pal scout teddy, think it looks great, can connect it to computer and get it to say their name etc....

and off she goes to boots to see what offers they have lol. My OH says no more, but i cant resist, lol

I got the rocking horse :happydance::happydance: .... Sooooo cute, in A1 condition and only £15 :happydance:

Yay! :D I had a rocking horse when I was little, a bamboo one, I loved it! And OMG I can't believe Kaylum's cruising already! Lachlan isn't even interested in crawling and he's a few days older, I guess it just goes to show they're all different.

Loving hearing what everybody's getting for their LOs! xx

where did you get your sock monkey?

None of mine ever moved as early as Kaylum .... he's just sooooo nosy and into everything :dohh: He mastered crawling over a month ago but that wasn't good enough - now he keeps pulling himself up and walking round the furniture and legs .... he even pulls himself up on his bumbo and uses it like a walker .... nothing is safe anymore!!

He is such a clever (and absolutely adorable!) little guy x

My lo is almost 9 months now and she loves anything that lights up or makes a noise. Some of the leapfrog and vtech toys are lovely
