My MIL has bought Jack a gaming chair for xmas. I dont want it. There is absolutely no where to put it. His room is too small, and i dont want it in my living room.

She text asking us if we wanted it, but we didnt see the text til a couple of hours later. We text back no, but by then she had already got it. She knows weve said no, but she still hasnt offered to take it back.

I know i sound ungrateful, but there really isnt anywhere to put it, and i know he wont like the laid back position of the chair anyway. FFS!!!!

My parents often do that! Knowing full well that we dont have room to swing a cat in our house.. we have to eat on sofas coz we cant even fit a dining table in... last year my parents bought my kids a pool table!!!!!

I'd just tell her to take it back, or I'd take it back myself. There is absolutely no need for people to be buying kids stuff we don't want them to have and is pisses me off no end! Thankfully I've not had to take anything back yet, probably because our whole family know I'm a bossy cow so always ask before they buy something

Thats what my sister has asked me to buy my 7year old neice, urrrrm no not happening I'm not having anything to do with it lol I asked her what she wanted and she said hair accessories and clothes which is fine, but I wasnt gunna get her straightners and proper make-up!

To the OP maybe wait till a cuple days after and say it was hurting his back so you swapped it, no grandma is gunna want there grandson getting a sore back
