That's mad! Is it even safe for a 7 year old to have hair striaghtners? Most of my friends got them at about 15 and were always burning themselves

Probably not but she thought they were cute They will be getting put out of sight on boxing day, if they didnt i can just see nicole leaving them on and burning the house down!!!

I would just take it back hun and tell her you said no and you dont have room for it. Chloe and Jaycee have always had stuff I have wanted because all my family ask what to get them and I tell them what I want for them lol. Easier that way.

OH mum asked so I said she could get them a new dolly each, My mum asked me and I told her I wanted the cook pots from Vtech, Paint Pots from Tomy and laptops and the rest I asked for clothes and vouchers and my mum and OH mum have also got a few others too!

I would just take it back. My mil is the same, she's bought nicole straighteners, make up and nail varnish and other bits the same for xmas!! Just what my 7yr old needs!!!

Thats what my sister has asked me to buy my 7year old neice, urrrrm no not happening I'm not having anything to do with it lol I asked her what she wanted and she said hair accessories and clothes which is fine, but I wasnt gunna get her straightners and proper make-up!

To the OP maybe wait till a cuple days after and say it was hurting his back so you swapped it, no grandma is gunna want there grandson getting a sore back

Yeah I agree with that, like play make up or for a party, but my sister was showing me make-up boxes that had blush and mascara in it- I couldnt even apply blush without looking like a clown as teenager let alone 7!

my mum asked me for a list for Ben and then bought nothing on it and bought him stuff that is totally impractical for his age and the size of my house.

she has also asked me to sort out old toys to keep at her house so i will probably sneak it all in when i do that lol

I have issues with in the night garden so from say 1 made it clear to everyone that i hated the show and LO wont be watching it - that way if they choose to buy him ITNG stuff in the future - they can expect me to be getting rid of it lol

They are awful, Mollie got 1 last year, after 2 days she complained her back was sore so i took it back.
