Preterm labor/hospitalized...

hi ladies..i am 29 weeks now..
i felt contractions and lots of pressure tuesday..i called my clinic and insisted i see someone..the doc did a vaginal exam and i was 2 cm dialated (same thing last pregnancy)
they sent me to my hospital: took me in right away, gave me meds to stop the contractions, steroids for baby lungs, antibiotic in case baby girl comes out..
after 3 days and 2 nights..im finally out of the hospital but im on full bed rest..


anybody had a similar situation?

Hi! Looks like we are due around the same time. I'm pregnant with twins and dilated (it was 1cm) but it has retracted a bit and my last cervix check via ultrasound was 2mm. I've been on bedrest since 20weeks and actually admitted to the hospital three times- all with preterm labor. I've had two rounds of steroids for lung development and Mag for contractions and babies' brain protection. But I'm hanging in there and at this point hoping to make it to 36weeks. Best of luck!

Not quite but im on strict bed rest as well for heavy bleeding. They could not find the source of the bleed on ultrasound, saying sometimes it is too small to be seen, but put me on bed rest for fear of placental rupture. I'm 31 weeks and have been on bed rest for only 5 days. I have non idea how you have been on bed rest since 20 weeks!!! Its soooo hard.

Did I also forget to mention, I have 3 little ones at home?! I've had to be very inventive around the house. Everyone is definitely suffering though. Good news is that we can definitely see the light at the end of the tunnel!
