Previous c-section scar burning!!

Hello all
I had a c-section 3 years ago n now am 37 weeks pregnant with my second baby. Today my scar is really burning and I'm in quite alot of pain. Have texted the midwife but she hasn't replied yet just thought I would ask you ladies for some advise and to see if anyone had experienced this before. Also been having these terrible headaches that have been there all day and not even codeine has helped?
If someone could help would be great. Thanks xx

I have no experience but would deffo give maternity triage a call.

i had this this morning hun, i ended up giving the hospital a call and they sent my midwife out to me.
i hadnt even been told this but after some advice from the lovely ladies on BnB when you have any type of pain in your scar you need to get it checked out in person, just incase its a possible rupture.
so i would say give your hospital a call and see what they say xx

i have this all the time ever since baby boy dropped, the OB told me its due to his head constantly sitting right there and putting pressure and stretching it, i was told if i can get the pain to subside with either a bath, or changing positions or tylenol or ice pack to go in to get check for a ruputure. but was told that is so rare for that to happen and you would be seeing some blood in you panties, just monitor it closely and if its constant, and your doubled over in pain, baby aint moving and you bleed at all even light little spotting to go in .

I have a spot on the left side of my scar that has been burning and hurting as well. I spoke to my doula, who is an ICAN leader and she said it's common for scars to hurt and such. But talk to your care provider.
