Previous C-sections and sweeps question

I know because I have had a section I cant be induced if I go overdue this time, but can someone who has had a section have a sweep? x

I would presume so, as it would be a slight way of avoiding inducing.

i dunno,but our hospital induces vbacs so i resume they do a sweep as routine

Yes! I had a C Section with my DD and we are trying for a VBAC this time. My doctor said around 39 weeks he will give me a sweep to get things going. He also said if I hit 40 weeks but am dilating and effaced he will probably give me just a smidge of pitocin to start labor, but nothing more since pitocin increases your odds of uterine rupture.
