Private Scans - Scotland? Help!

Hi everyone just need a bit of help here.

wondering if anyone knows where i can get a private scan in scotland?

The only ones i have seen are London/ England.

Am i being totally stupid????

WAIT!!! read my scan experience in my 2nd tri post!! It was a place in perth in scotland!! The value for money was AMAZING and the man who did the scan was sooo nice I am goin back there later on in pregnancy

Thanks for all the replies!!! The one in Perth looks great, maybe a bit of a trek though, I live in Dumfries and Galloway.

Im trying to find one closer? think the closest at the moment is Glasgow, which is still 1hour 40mins away!

I too am in Glasgow and for you that is a bit far. Try phoning private hospitals in your area, if they don't do it then ask them to recommend someone!

hi i couldnt find the location for babyscanning in inverness is there definately one there and does any one know the number thanks

We are only minutes away from the Perth by-pass, M90 and the A9, and are thus also easily accessible from Inverness, Aberdeen, Dundee and Stirling.

The only ones I know of are Babes In The Womb, Babyscanning and Healthcare Now (all in Edinburgh)

Babyscanning also do Glasgow, Aberdeen and Surrey.

Babybond have places in Livingston and Glasgow.

If you search hard enough you might find a local hospital that night do it. Also many private places wont touch you until you're a lil further on- not sure about 12 weeks. i was searching for a friend and the only place that would do it was Babybond. (around £95)

Arent you entiltled to at least 2 scans from the NHS Scotland??
