Probable false positive whilst breastfeeding

Hi everyone
I am posting this here as well as in TTC forum:
I am new here and am hoping someone cn shed some light on what has happened to me over the last few days??...
I am still breastfeeding my 10 month old. This has dropped to just 2 feeds a day since I have been back at work, but still no AF.
I have been experiencing horrible nausea like when I was pregnant, with headaches. I know that this could be related to te BFing but it was playing with my mind so last week did a couple of tests- no surprise that they were BFNs!
However, on Fri I did a Sainsburys own digital as I had one left in the drawer; I couldn't believe it a BFP!!!!
I sent my husband to get some more tests and I am ashamed to say have done 10 more, all BFN
I think the only way this can be explained rationally is a dodgy test. But am really gutted. I didn't realise how ready I was for another baby!

I have heard false positives are really really rare, so test again in a few days. Sounds like you could well be pg to me! Good luck!

As PP said, false positives are rare. I would test again with a pink dye test (I always use FRER) with FMU. Good luck!

Thanks ladies
Went to GP today as was going insane!
Going to go for a blood test this week, including HCG check. GP was a bit dismissive and looked at me like I was totally wasting her time!
I am very aware that the likelihood is that it will be negative but I can't help thinking what if...

Was it a digital that said pregnant?

If so they are uncommon to be false positives as they need high levels of hcg!

Id wait a few days and test fmu with a frer!

I no what u mean tho we started trying for ds straight after dd was born n I now have an 18 month old and 2 month old and was thinkin hmm I'd like another haha x

Wow Laurenmomma you are hard core! You would have 3 under 5!
It was a digital- I did another yesterday (addict!!) and it was negative again!!
Had a metallic taste yesterday as well as nausea but today don't feel that nauseous at all. I am going crazy!!

Try another one in a couple of days, false positives are pretty rare especially with a digital xxx
