Has anyone else had this? We have only been using the parent handset part for a couple of weeks since moving our son into his own room. Last night, despite the handset being on charge all day, it started beeping low battery within two hours and tonight, as soon as our son makes a noise or movement instead of hearing him its making a horrendous loud noise, I cant even explain what its like! Its not a static or mobile interference noise. I have had to switch it off completely as its so loud its been waking him down the hall. Just wondered if this is common before I trek to mothercare to return it x

me either :( But mine did start making a beep and I finally figured out it was the temperature gauge. If it goes above or below a certain temperature it beeps every minute to alert you. Are you sure it is low battery beep and not the temp or something else?

Its definitely the battery as its showing empty when it starts beeping and stops when its returned to the base. Its not the temperature either as it always is at 21 or 22 degrees. But the other noise im completely baffled about! I have switched it on again to see if I can get it to repeat it to try and explain better! X

We had a problem with ours where it would work when on the charger but stopped when we took it off, turned out we had the batteries the wrong way round.

We had something similar... try changing the channel!

Yes agree ^^^
Make sure batteries are inserted properly because if they are not it will not charge properly.
Also change the channel it is tuned to stop interference. Its all explained in the handbook.
