problems with silver cross car seat??

Just wondering if anyone else has had problems with the buckle on the silvercross car seats??

I got my silvercross metropolitan travel system from mothercare. sometimes the buckle really difficult and won't click in - its really frustrating! Especially If you hav left it strapped in,. The other day I had to undo the entire seatbelt to turn the seat round as I spent aaaages and couldnt get it!

Wondering if I should return it to mothercare :/

Is it the ventura plus car seat? I never had any problems like that with mine.

Yeah that's the one!
I do eventually get it buckled but it can take forever!

Maybe your buckle is faulty, I don't remember having any problems with mine it always fastened fine!

My one is a bugger to click in sometimes too and have to loosen the straps! tbh if I was buying a car seat again I'd avoid silver cross it's been a pain from the start with car seatbelt not fitting round it etc!

I hate ours. The harness is hard to click in and the whole design is crap. I hate how you have to undo the seatbelt everytime even if you're leaving the carseat in the car, else you can't get LO out/in. Ridiculous and not what you'd expect from silver cross.

I had the same one and don't remember having any problems with it, might be worth checking you haven't got a faulty one?

We have one and I hate it. You have to loosen the straps to fasten the buckle. Very frustrating. I don't undo the whole seatbelt each time cos it's too hard to redo but putting bub into it is horrible - I have to stand him vertical to slip him in and when he is in he usually hates it.

Looks like I'm not the only one then!

My seatbelt actually fits fine luckily, its awful in my mums car tho! The buckle is a real pain,. Maybe il need to loosen the straps to get it clicked in. U shouldn't have to do that tho its a pain! X

Anyone else been forced to buy the isofix base just so it fits in the car or was that just me?
