Problems with the CSA?!?!?X

Hi guys, i have had a case with the CSA for nearly 2yrs now, as my ex partner kept falling behind on a private agreement that we had together, since going with the CSA i have never had payments on time, they say that i should get my money by the 25th of each month but that never happens,they say that it is my ex's employer that is not sending the money to them (as my ex has a reduction from earnings order).
Last year i had to go from july 08 untill Dec 08 without any money from them, and this year i went 3 months without money again,and yet still payments are not on time, I' am currently owed 2months now, i find them totally useless and not helpful as they dont seem to be doing anything, i went through the CSA so i didnt have to chase my ex but it now seems like im chasing them!!!

Sorry to babble on but i was wondering if anybody else has had this problem and if anyone has any advice for me as im getting very annoyed now!!!!

Each month my payment gets stuck in there system takes 5 wks to get it ...they also owe me 1192 due to making a mistake and paying the government instead of me ...if u dont chase you dont get

It's the most annoying thing ever, i find myself having to ring nearly evey week, even then i never find anything out!! xxx

Hi I dont have experience of CSA but do know a little about attachment to earnings. When an order is made to attach to wage the employer legally has to make those payments direct from the wage every month. If you ex gets paid under a certain amount, no payment may be taken though, as a certain amount of wage is classed as protected salary.

Grr csa is a bloody pain, Ive been " trying " to claim csa with them since josh was 6wks old..he'll be 4 yrs old in nov & still i get nothing.
His dad job hopped so that soon as csa got in touch with his employer to take money he would just leave as it takes around 8wks for csa to get in touch with employer & get them to take the money etc, The company have to send it in to csa within so many days then the csa forward it to you. They are extremely crap at this & doing anything about non payers, They are meant to take repeat non payers to court but nope they dont do that . i have to ring constantly but all i ever get is its gone to either " clerical " or " complex " but thats it they've apparently gone as far as they can. So im stuck now as they wont chase him.
