They were my origional choice but after reading alot of bad reviews i backed out a bit and decided to see how my friend got on with them before buying. Her daughter was sick everytime she drank out of the tommee tippee bottles and she would cry for hours yet when my friend used the mam bottles she wasnt sick nor crying for hours on end. (friend used mam and tommee tippee)

Since then i have just bought mam bottles but i just wondered if anyone else ever had problems with tommee tippee bottles just purely out of intrest?

I have used the TT CTN bottles since Hannah was 4 weeks old and have never had a problem but I have heard of other that have tried them and they didnt agree with their LO.

Like everything else, all babies are different and different bottles suit different babies

i had dr.browns i then swapped to tommee tippee and leo was fine ....as said above differant babies differant preferance..

i know all baies are different but its natural for you not to want to risk it

When my little girl was born she wouldn't take to any teat..I had bought the full TT sterlisier kit!(she was 4 weeks prem though) it would take an hour to get an oz down her when we wewre feeding by hospital provided bottles..after a lot of upset and frustration I was told by my HV that the best ever were the old fashioned bottles and latex teats...within 10 mins of getting these she took 3oz in 5 mins!..I was so upset but was a huge relief..I also wanted to BF but she wouldn't take it..so she is FF..if nothing else I have learnt you cannot plan in advance and all babies are different :)

We use the Tommee Tippee ones and he does really well with them. Used others at times but always go back to TT, but all babies are so different and things often don't go to plan!!

is that the same with BF then? some babies take to it and others wont?

I think less so with BF but guess there are a lot more factors involved. I tried BF Theo but it didn't really work. They gave him formula on the ward as there were concerns about his blood sugar which he loved and my milk didn't really ever come through properly. I did half and half for about 3 months and then gave up. Looking back I could have persevered a bit longer but it didn't really work that way as I got quite demoralised.

i had everything tommee tippee but like your friend everytime she had a bottle with tommee tippee she threw it all back up i now use dr brown bottles and they have been fab

i had dr brown and tommee tippee from day one. (that sounds rude...) tommee tippee were better for my boy. i love them. xx

I used the Tommee Tippee ones first and Jasmine hated them, she suffered colic and the teats would go into the bottle when she tried sucking out of them, I changed to Dr Brown's and have never looked back x

We BF but sometimes I express and we use the CTN bottles too. They are fine for Byron.

I have had a few sick episodes with TT but not every feed. She tends to be sick more when she has more than she actually needs imo

i think its down to each induvidual baby hun, clara had the tt ones and loved them strangely she had a prob with the advent ones.

I have Dr Browns, avent and TT. TT made her sick all over the place - she would take 4oz in about an hour and then be sick all over herself and start again. Avent she just didnt get on with, chewed the teat and spat it out lol and Dr Browns I still use now, they are brilliant!

I use the Tommee Tippee CTN bottles and i have no problems with them at all. Leo's fine on them
X
