problems with tommee tippee

Hi girls,

well i am having some problems with tommee tippee closer to nature bottles.
when Annabelle feeds she gulps at it and then immediately after throws the entire contents of the bottle up. the teats are slow flow and the right ones for her age etc.

a friend of mine said her little one had same problem and she used the NUK teats, she had a spare pack of 2 so she brought them around and we used them, she has had 4 feeds using the NUK teats and she hasnt thrown up once but is bringing up wind.

is this common?

i have tried to buy some NUK teats myself but mothercare hasnt got any in so will be monday before they arrive if we order them

any suggestions welcome please im feeling little anxious about what to do for the best

I used the tommy tippee ones and he didnt throw up but seemed to be in distress when sucking and gulping air and it was awful to listen to he sounded so uncomfortable!- I just use the Avent ones now that came with my breast pump.

Jasmine hated the tommee tippee ones, we brought Dr Browns in the end

OMG!!! Oliver does this and I thought he was just getting used to the bottle, as he mostly BF. When we used the one that came with the breast pump, he wasn't sick. It really hadn't crossed my mind! Perhaps I'll lay off the Tommy Tippee one for a while and see what happens.

Charlie had the tommee tippee CTN ones and used to occassionally do the same. Odd. We just thought it was him. We've kept the steriliser and bottles and was just going to buy new teats for new baby, but now I'm thinking of buying Avent ones as I've never heard bad things about these.

Did anyone else find that it was harder for LO to hold the Tommee Tippee ones too?

Same thing used to happen with Caitlyn. They made her very colicky too. We changed her to Dr Browns

Ollie has Tommee Tippee CTN bottles too, he's really sicky and I've had real trouble with him but that's reflux as he's been diagnosed with it today x

Erin used the tommee tippee ones twice and both times she threw up the whole bottle straight after drinking. We changed to avent bottles and have never had a problem since. xx

Elliot has tommee tippe bottles, and hasn't had any problems? we swapped from a different brand, and saw a big improvement. He still has a bit of colic but is far better then before.

Every baby is different!
