I posted in first trimester but only one reply and was hoping to hear from people who have taken this tablet for ms.

I am desperate now, i can not keep anything down at all. Well i am sick after everything i eat but not totally sure if everything comes back up but most of it does. I am exhaused and emotional and just don't know what to do for the best?

I was prescribed these tablets (also called Buccal tablets) a couple of weeks ago for bad ms but havent taken any yet. I was too scared to take them as on the leaflet it says they haven't been tested on pregnant women so side effects are unknown?

Has anyone taken Prochlorperazine and had a healthy baby? I'm just so scared but also want to be able to keep food and drink down.

I tried them but they didn't work for me, they need to sit for at least an hour in your cheek/gum and i'd just dribble them out when i was being sick! I was determined not to take drugs for the MS and tried everything (acupuncture/homeopathy/sick bands etc etc) as no drugs are ever tested on pregnant women. However, the ones we use in the UK have been used for a long time so lasting effects would be known. I ended up on cyclizine and metoclopramide (3 of each a day so LOTS of pills) for about 13 weeks as i had HG not normal MS. I came off them and am still sick but it's not as bad as it was. Good luck, if you can't function with the sickness then i'd recommend the pills. I was unable to leave the house!
