Progesterone 5.9

I am 7dpiui (#4) today and had my progesterone levels tested this morning. It was 5.9! Eek!! My RE said to take supplements which I was planning on doing since I have pre AF spotting. My question is, isn't this really low? Is there a chance that implantation might have already happened and it not stick because of low pro? I usually take the supplement at night, but I think I am going to take it now just to get it in my system asap!

What do you think? Any success stories worn low progesterone???

This is USA scale?

You need to be at least 7 to confirm ovulation. It should be a minimum of 10 on an unmedicated cycle, and at least 15-20 for a medicated cycle.

Yes, it's USA. The doc says its low but fine but wanted to make sure I had supplements. I did the supplements last cycle too because of the spotting. It's been happening since we started ttc almost 2 years ago. And last cycle was the first cycle of didn't happen! I think this is a huge problem for me and I don't know why my re isn't more shocked by it. I am doing the supplements only because I pressed the issue with him, I feel like its an issue. We have checked my levels numerous times and usually it's been above the normal 15 they like to see for a medicated cycle. But I still spotted those cycles, I think my progesterone drops off too soon hence the spotting.

I don't now what to do. Obviously take the supplements, but am I wrong to be upset that my doctor isn't more bothered by this!?

No it's not wrong to be upset. 5.9 is too low. I'd be getting a second opinion. It sounds good that it's not always low, but this time, it is way too low.

I wanted to send some your way... I am kind of in the same boat. The doctor is confirming ovulation but i'm not sure how when mine came back lower than ever! I've have my progesterone come back at 13, 6, and now 4.4.... I am taking progesterone to help with this...as well as estradiol and clomid.
