I'm TTC #1 and on CD2 of cycle #12. AF is always very short and light for me, she lasts for 2 days max with a few days of spotting afterwards. My last cycle was the first time I've charted and my luteal phase was 12 days and sometimes I get spotting a day or two before AF shows.
I mentioned to someone that I think the reason we can't conceive is due to my lining being to thin and not strong enough for implantation to happen, and they mentioned using progesterone cream, but I have a few questions about it:
Is it safe for me to use progesterone cream even though I've not been officially diagnosed with a thin lining by a doctor?
Are there any side effects of using the cream?
How do I use the cream (i.e. When do I start using it, how much should I use and where do I put it)?
Will it start to thicken my lining in the first cycle I use it or will it take a few cycles to take effect?
Is there anyone who has used the cream and successfully got pregnant?
Where can I buy progesterone cram in the UK?
Has anyone tried any other methods to thicken their lining which were successful?
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts! Thanks xx
