Progesterone - day 21 level

hello all,

After reading a couple of things on BnB I've started to wonder about my progesterone reading from my CD21 test.

My result came back at 74 which GP flagged as "no action needed" and I thought was a good reading. But after reading some things - is this too high?!?

I didn't think there was such thing as too high progesterone. Is there???

Test was done 8DPO (7DPO was a Sunday), 10 days before AF started.

Anyone have any insight? I can't find a reliable record anywhere online in my searches to show expected/good levels.

Hi! i too have been searching the web for information on this after my test results came back 55 and my FS put me on clomid to try to increase it, she said mine wasn't low low she would just like to see it about 80! After reading things 80 seemed sooo high i was worried about being over medicated but i'm going with it and aiming for that 80! So personally by the info from my fs your number is just where it should be, good luck hun x

Mine came back at 1. So Im sure you have nothing to worry about xx

My understanding is anything over 40 confirms ovulation, sounds good to me!

Thanks all. My doctor didn't seem to have any problems with it and from the further research I've done I've not found anything about it being too high so I'm not going to worry!
