Hey ladies

So I did a hpt thid morning got a bfn and a bit upset now I've just got my CD21 day blood test results back and feel alot happier. What a rollercoster day I'm having!

Anyway my results were 69.5

With the research I've done thats a good sign I think.
Am I right in thinking that although a high level (which I think this is) doesn't mean I'm pregnant it could be a first indicator. Or if I'm not this time at least my uterus is a good healthy place for an egg to implant when it finally does get fertilised.

Am I right?
I just got told it's come back normal.

Also DH had his 3rd SA today so when we get the results back from that I'm demanding an appointment with the doc to talk it all through as the only knowledge I've got is from the internet and you lovely ladies.

Thank you in advance for your help x

Maybe its just too early to test and that's why bfn. Good luck to you!

Em, Im sure its too early for BFP.

You couldnt have done any more!!!

I love you! See ya later on tonight darling x x x

Hey you dont make me cry I've just got myself together x
Love you too x

my levels have always been low say 19 or at the most 25 but my FS says its ok... yours seems very good you must have had a strong egg and folicle to get those levels.

GL x

If your uk then that is a decent level. It's not incredibly high though. Don't want to be negative as women concieve with lower progesterone so I apologise if it sounds that.

I'm following Napro (along with a couple of other ladies on here) and they require progesterone to be between 60 and 100 day 21. It gives an indication of ovulation and that amount of progesterone your body is producing following the egg being released from its follicle. So you have had a good ovulation

Thanks ladies for putting my mind to rest.
I was quite happy with my results just needed confirmation.
Guess I'll just have to wait and see what the future has in store for us.
Baby dust to all

really? I was told mine being 19 and then 25 was fine? this is interesting i felt at the time the DR was fobbing me off a bit.

Wow - 69 is great! Mine was only 15 and although it was barely enough to indicate ovulation, it's obviously not very good. I'm on progesterone now, which seems to have helped. In my non-expert opinion, I think you got a very promising result - best of luck to you! :flower:

Unfortunately yes. I felt I was being fobbed off too. And after speaking to a gyne privately that confirmed it.

my fs said that some pct's say anything over 25 confirms ovulation, mine say over 30. on clomid mine was 46 and she believes this is an ovulatory cycle. your number sounds fab! fingers crossed hun x

Thank you ladies,
AF due on Thursday, these last few days my emotions are every where!
Wish Thursday would hurry up already :haha:

I know the doctors look for anything in an unmedicated cycle to be at least a 3, but I think 15+ preferred to indicate that ovulation occurred. Maybe that's what he meant?

Hi Titi, the UK and US use very different measurements. If the post was US then it would look good, if UK then not. Its something like US measurement x1.5 or 2= UK level.

ah ha! That makes sense-I was wondering why those other numbers were so high! :dohh:
