Progesterone levels at 7DPO

Hello everyone.

I just got the results from a blood test taken 7DPO and my progesterone level is 100. I am taking 100mg of clomid.

Interested to hear from any ladies who had a similar result and went on to get a BFP - or who didn't! I suppose I just want to know more about what this does or doesn't mean reall?

Either way I am happy to have ovulated as I didn't last month with 50mg clomid - my progesterone level was 2!

Hello, I got my 7DPO test results back and they were 106 on 50g Clomid 2nd cycle.

Before they were 19.4 so a big improvement but it was my month as the withc got me...so I am on my 3rd cycle. Hopefully its 3rd time lucky for me.

Can i ask if you have had a scan yet to find out how many follicles you released on 100mgClomid?

Dunno if it helps but I had 94.8 and was pg (but unfortunately ended in m/c)

Baby Carey, I did have scans this cycle and I had only one follicle that 'popped' at 20mm!

Hi Firefox, how are you? What is LOD? Sorry that you didn't o on clomid, I've just been on another thread where some ladies got their BFP in the cycle after they finished clomid. I shall keep my fingers crossed that it works like that for you too...

I am so pleased I had the scans, they really put my mind at ease. Though it still required a blood test to confirm an egg had released. I am now 9DPO but I have no symptoms at all to suggest pregnancy which is a bit disappointing.

When all is said and done though, I am very happy to know I o'd and happy to try another few months on 100mg clomid.

Hi Hopes im ok thanks, LOD stands for laparoscopic ovarian drilling as I've got pcos and not responded to clomid my FS has put me down for the ovarian drilling and dye test to check that my tubes are open and ok.

The drilling should lower testosterone and also regulate my cycles (fingers crossed!). I've not had much luck off of clomid at the moment. Im on CD31 and have not had any signs of ov so am not holding out much hope!

Am trying to 'treat' my pcos naturally but not alot is happening so am going to go on a low GI diet and see if my doc will test me for insulin resistance.

My FS has told me that after the op the only thing the NHS will offer is more clomid, apparently it should work better after the op. I hope it doesnt get that far cos clomid made me feel a bit crazy!!

Its brilliant news that the 100mg worked for you and it must give you a bit of peace of mind knowing that you have ov!

Keep me posted how you get on will keep my fingers crossed that this is your cycle!! x

Wow 100 is a very high figure! My first cycle on Clomid without a HCG shot, I ovulated on my own but only 27 - which my FS said was a very good figure. What country are you from? Do they use a different scale there?

I go in for my progesterone draw this Friday. Did you have a HCG shot? Did your BBT increase?

Hi Cheerios. I am in the UK and yes, I think we do use a different unit of measurement, which makes it impossible to understand other peoples results!

I haven't had an HCG shot. My temp rose this morning but I really don't think we have conceived this time. I feel absolutely nothing. I'm now on CD 26, 13DPO; I tested yesterday and got a BFN and I really think I would have had a sign by now if I was pregnant. I'm now just hoping that af comes quickly so we can move on to a fresh cycle.
