projectile vomiting.

joshua has been sicky during/ after a feed the last week or so but today its been projectile.

should i be worried or is this ok?

If it's happened more than once than I would go ahead and have it checked out. How much of his bottle is he spitting up?

my HV said projectile is when it shoots from baby to another person sitting on the sofa etc... and she told me to be concerned when its like whole feeds!!

I thought my baby was projectile when it was coming out of her like a water fountain lol!!

it isnt loads and its not at every feed.

its when we go to wind him.
maybe its just when he brings wind up the milk is just pushed up with it.

its only milk,it isnt curdeled or anything.

If it shoots several feet across the room you should have him checked out, or if he seems uncomfortable when it happens. It does sometimes seem to go a long way if they're up on a shoulder and being winded though...lots of air can force it out quite fast! x

It shoots across the room...several feet, and he'd probably seem unwell with it too x

It's not uncommon for babies to spit up while you are burping them.

ellie used to projectile vomit i found if you wind him after every ounce it may help then there will be less milk for him to bring up and if your having trouble bringing his wind up try infacol its great!
