Prometrium

I am curious to hear what dosage other women have been put on for progesterone supplements?? I have NOT had my levels tested, my Dr. prescribed Prometrium to me as a precaution (due to previous early loss). He has me taking 100mg orally, 2 capsules 3x a day. I have been doing a lot of internet research, and most women aren't on this high of a dosage it seems.
I 100% TRUST my Dr. his opinions and his scripts, this question comes directly from curiousity.
Also, anyone with progesterone suppliment stories to share, that would be great!!

My levels were not tested and mine is precaution as well but I take a 200mg pill twice daily

I'm on suppositories as a precaution as well (my levels were in the low range of normal last month when I wasn't pregnant). I'm on 100mg vaginally.
