Hi. I handed in a urine sample for my son last week as he seemed to be going to the toilet more often. This stopped after a day or two and the sample showed no infection but there was some protein. It was repeated and is still there. Doctor wants to repeat it in a month. I'm really worried as everything I read says kidney problems and wondered if anyone's child had had this and eventually went away.
Thanks

I don't have any personal experience but I would forget everything you have read and go by what the doctor has told you. Google is a terrible tool sometimes all it does is cause us worry x

Just do whatever the doc has suggested and hopefully when they repeat in a month it will be clear

Thanks, I know you're right and sometimes wish google didn't exist (especially when it doesn't give me the reassurance I'm looking for!). Wish I could just relax about these kind of things but I get so anxious.

And I wish I could take my own advice whe google in concerned, I am terrible for it lol
