Hi ladies,

Following on the other thread about explaining yourselves for FFing, I want to share my success with formula feeding. Omar was formula fed since day 1. I had a traumatic emergency CS, my DS was born poorly, & the hospital refused to give him FF for 18 hrs to "help him latch on". After 1 day he developed sever jaundice & had to be fed every 2 hrs. They fed him from a sirynge & I had to leave the hospital early as I couldnt accept thei attitude towards ffing anymore. I didnt have milk to BF & after 6 weeks of struggling we finally found the right formula & bottles & we moved on.

Omar is almost 13 months. He's walking & running around the house, he understands two languages & speaks very well for his age (In English & Arabic). He's very smart kid & he reached all his milestones on time. He's doing great & I feel very proud of his development. I dont regret feeding him formula.

For all new mommies who'r formula feeding, keep your heads up, you'r not doing anything wrong, you'r seeking the best for you & your LOs. Big hugs :hugs::hugs:

i'm proud to use ff.
i was young when i had my first and didnt want to bf. then i had another baby 13 months later ff this one too. 13 years ago i had another lo and all turned out fine, i recently had my 4th and wanted to continue as before. other wise they may feel they r special because of bf.
But 4 kids down and all FF and all loving life,

LOVE FF as everyone can do it!!!
Dont be ashamed...................:)

Before Carter was born, I never thought that bf wouldnt work out. Well, due to lazy baby and delayed milk it didn't. Maybe if I had tried longer or tried harder it may have worked out, but I didn't -oh well! I am now a proud formula feeding mommy. Carter is happy, I am happy, what more could I ask for. :hugs:to all ff, as we have nothing to be ashamed of, we are all doing what works for us and are all great mommies!!!!

I too am a proud FF mummy. Personally I think the people who feel the need to comment on us FF mums should be the ones who should be ashamed. We are all mums just doing our best and we love our little ones just as much as BF mums.

I FF'ed from 2 weeks. My daughter has thrived, has never been overweight and is extremely intelligent for her age, not just from my perspective but that of others including my HV (she is 2.5 years old) I don't regret FFing her and I never listen to people when they make negative comments about it :)
