Provera: 10 days vs 5 days

Anyone know why there's a difference? My old RE had me on it for 5 days and it worked. Another doctor had me take it for 10 and that worked too. Now my new RE wants me to take it for 10 days again.

Has anyone ever taken it for 5 instead of 10 days? I'm considering it...

I've always taken it for 10 days O: So I have no idea about the 5 day thing, sorry! Really, i would just do what your doc says, my guess is that the 10 day dose of provera more closely resembles your LP and will help out your next cycle all the better.
