Provera didn’t seem to work??

I’m 37 and my DH and I are seeing an endo for TTC. I was given Provera because after being taken off of Spironlactone, my period wouldn’t come. I started spotting two days after my last pill then the next day (Thursday) I had what I considered a full flow and then it just stopped. Is this normal is there something wrong with me? I’m supposed to start letrozole on Monday.
