Hello,
I am brand new to the site but have read a little of the threads to make me join. Here is my story. I am 29yo newly married 10/21/06 and since then we ahve been trying to conceive. I have been taking the ovulation tests monthly and planning accordingly. I cant do the BBT due to the fact I cant sit still the first thing in the AM. My periods are like clock work, I have a 32 day cycle most of the time. I have only bine to my ob/gyn where in Oct. she suggested to go to the fertility specialist since we have been unsuccessful so far. My husband wanted us to try on our own for a few more months and change his lifestyle. (he is lossing weight, stop drinking, wearing boxers) I have also lost 35lbs since July and do not drink, take vitamins, neither of us smoke.

So here is my issue. For the past 16months leading up to my period I would get the feeling that I was pregnant, of course. But it was never true. Just me think it was then after my period I would have a few weeks of feeling nothing and then back to the same routine in hopes of a positive preg. test. Then this month happened. We TTC on the 21 of january when I had a somewhat positive OV test then I tested two days after and they were definately postitive. I got my period on the expected day ( the 5th of Feb.) but it was slightly different in the fact that I only bleed heavy for one day then the remaing 4 where panty liner worthy, on the heavy day I was curled up in a ball because I had bad cramps ( not typical at all) and then now I have this constant pressure in my lower abdomen, sore breasts, dizziness, slight nausea, slight headache, acne flair up, hungry more than usual. I took a preg. test on Weds and it was negative but could it be I was just to early. If I was pregnant I would be roughly 3.5 wks. So do you think it is me and having pschomatic symptons or do you think it can be real?

As a side note, can someone give me a list of abbreviations for terms.

Thank you for your help.

Welcome to the forum :)

When one is trying really hard to get pregnant, one thinks greatly about baby, baby, baby :) When we were trying for our first one, I know there were many times that I wondered if I was pregnant and second guessed things I may be feeling.

At the same time, you may have tested early and time will tell for you :)

Wishing you good luck!
