In the next few months or so we are going to try and see if Hannah is really to potty train.

Neither! My lo just used them as a nappy so were a bit pointless for us. Lots of nappy off time and then straight into pants.

we have just started potty training and we have decided to go straight to pants as pull-ups are too much like nappies. she gets a pull - up at night but during the day it's pants and leggings so they're easy to pull down.

Another neither here. They are too much like nappies and honestly aren't worth the price. We went straight to pants with Daniel and plan to do the same with Esther.

naty's training pants are what we use they are awesome!

go straight for pants, we started off with pull ups but it confused her (only used them when I went out somewhere) when I ditched them completely through the day she was dry in a matter of days she wears a pull up on a night though x

We used Easy ups for a while before potty training. The decision to go from pampers baby dry to easy ups was purely that its easier to change her standing, she hated nappy changes and would struggle so easy ups were 'easy'!

Never tried pull ups as they're Huggies and I didn't like the brand.

We didn't 'try' potty training with LO, weren't going to until this summer but on Christmas Day she took her nappy off, wee'd in the potty and refused to wear a nappy and never wee'd or poo'd outside the potty/toilet again.

Never used them with dd she started potty training at 14 months and the pull ups just seemed too much of a hinderance

If she is poorly tho like she had a diorreha bug a few weeks ago I put pull ups on her as she didn't know when she was pooping and I didn't want to confuse her with a nappy! x

I prefer the Pull Ups even though they are a tad more expensive. My DD only uses them at night so we don't use more then 30 in a month anyways. I like the fact they have the velcro sides and have a "cool" sensation for when they pee. She has woken in the middle of the night to change her pull up because when she pee'd while she was sleeping the cool sensation woke her and let her know she had went on herself - which is a great way to alert them that they just went potty.

Assuming the OP is in the UK we don't get the cool sensation pull ups.

I've used both and think they are much of a muchness. But I don't think either of them really do much in the way of potty training but pullups/easy ups are more of a pain to change than nappies as they involve removing shoes etc.

Going for pants this weekend.

I used Tescos own pull ups with Earl, purely because he outgrew size 6 dry nappies and these were the only ones that really fit him until he went into pants. I wouldn't say they 'helped' with potty training. I used them at night until he was nearly 3 though, as while he was dry in the day, he still needed that extra for a while at night.

Straight into pants, nappy off, potty within dashing distance and plenty of praise/rewards when they get it right! If they're ready, it wont take long at all!
