well i had packed away the breast pump as hadnt used it much recently (was pumping to get milk to mix with her food when she first started solids)
thing is its been soooo hot and ive been worrying about violet not drinking milk as much, been offering her boob at every oppertunity as well as the odd sip of water with her meals, but have foiund her getting all hot and bothered during the boob feeds as im so hot too! today she even had a horrid little sweat/heat rash on her head/neck where she rests against me when we're feeding! also my boobs dont feel emptyed so im worried it will affect my supply if they're not getting emptied..
so i steralised the pump and got 4oz really easily! hehe ive stuck it in the fridge and gunna give it to her tonight to help cool her down (obv not too cold!)! her room is 29 degrees all night atm with a fan on all night and sleeping with just a nappy on..
good old breast pump!! least she can have a nice drink without having to be pressed against a human hot water bottle
