So i got PUPPS with my first pregnancy and i was wondering what you think is the chances ill get it with this one? and if you had it with your first, if you had it in other pregnancies? im worried as it was horrible the first time and really dont want to have to go threw it again :haha:

Oh my goodness, I am 11+4 weeks pregnant and had completely forgotten about PUPPS which I suffered massively with in my first pregnancy. I even forgot to tell me midwife about it during my booking in appointment! I must let her know!
Thank you for reminding me, although I wish I was still blissfully unaware! Lol!!
I can't answer your question, but I'll be stalking this thread.
I remember wanting to scratch my skin off on my belly and the soles of my feet!!

i am terrified of getting it i am going to be asking my doctor about it on monday when i go in because i Absolutly want to not ever have to experiance that again lol. and im already starting to feel itchy so im really nervous.. terrible thing PUPPS is lol

Ok, we're in luck. From what I have read, it's uncommon to suffer from PUPPS in subsequent pregnancies.
Let me know what your doctor says though! x

I'd read that its more common when pregnant with boys?!

It certainly is. And sure enough, I had a little boy!
Although my friend had it too, not as severe as myself, but she had a girly

Yup i had a boy and had it really bad like seriously Bad lol when i first got it i thought i was having a alergic reaction to something i got it on my hands bump legs boobs, any where i had stretch marks those sneaky little buggers got me.. Bah so annoying!! i will defantly be letting you know what my doctor says.. Ive herd/read its not very common to get it in other pregnancies, and its more common in first pregnancies so fingers crossed i absolutly do not want to deal with it again!!!

I talked to my doctor and she said that there is no way to tell if you will get PUPPS for a second/third ect time just to wait it out i guess, but just because u got it in your first doesnt necessary mean u will get it again, its just a hormone balance which causes this.. I have my fingers crossed that i dont get it, i never got it tell 37 weeks last time, so thats a couple weeks away yet.. so hoping i dont get it hehe
