Putting back TTC 9 or so months

Well, the last two weeks have been a rollacoaster of emotions. But after looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooootttttttttsssssssssss of thinkin, talking and some more thinkin, we have decided to start trying in the middle of 2012 instead of xmas next year.

This is for three reasons:

1. In the next three years (ie. next two years, and another 9 months or more until baby arrives) we can save in the region of £20k.
2. That means we can have the baby in the flat whilst I am on maternity leave and move to a lovely house when I return to work (yay!)
3. We can go on a kick-ass holiday to Thailand or Borneo or Nepal or Sri Lanka - or wherever we fancy - in early 2012 (as well as going to Florida next year)

I will only be just 29 by the time we start trying and I feel really confident in my gut this is the right decision. I feel really really happy about is now!

Although, fully prepared that broodyness will hit me again, and I will change my mind. But this definately the plan for now.

Hi.
You sound as if you have really give this a lot of thought, good for you. We have done the same and have our last big holiday booked for Mauritius next september and will be starting to try just before then. I really recommend Sri Lanka we loved it, Thailand to. We are also putting money aside ready for when our little one comes, I like the thought of the security plus I know I will just have to have everything I see, baby wise. Enjoy the planning and your day will soon come especially with so much to look forward to while you WTT. Just remember your reasons for waiting when you get broody and while you wait all the waiting to tryers are here to support you, after all we are all going through the same thing. Have fun and I will save some baby dust for you for when you are ready

Thanks guys. Yup, feeling much better about the whole situation and really looking forward to the next couple of years - exciting times :0)

I can guarantee I will be back on here for some broodyness support - especially as two of my best friends are now trying, and no doubt will be falling soon
