Q: has anyone concieved as late as a cd25+ ovulation?

I didn't get a +OPK until CD28.

I ovulated cd21 and am pregnant now!

I have PCOS so ovulate at different times usually late, apparantly taking vitamin e helps to strengthen the outer shell of the egg and taking zinc helps to repair any damage done and also the linning ready for implantation so may be worth looking into taking these just in case late ovulation causes probs.

I actually believe its best for your body to ovulate when its ready rather than force it to ovulate earlier. On both cycles where I ovulated around cd14 ish they ended in a blighted ovum or miscarriage, the cycles where I concieved cd17 onwards I now have 2 healthy boys!

wow congrats to all of you guys too! gosh, it seems that there are quite a few of you doesn't it? what is my dr talking about?
cd 21 ovulation seems to be quite common here, to be honest I had heard ov past day 20 was what posed the problem but I don't really see why.

did any of you gals have a lot of signs/ symptoms before you got your BFP?

I had sore boobs but only really in the evening and they were just sharp pains. I also was gagging alot - not really nausea I would just gag out of nowhere and sometimes something came up and sometimes not! I also had a low fever (100 - 101) from 8 dpo to 11 dpo. I am still super super early pregnant, I just found out 3 days ago! I also had zero appetite - but that started yesterday and today.

I haven't been to the dr yet to confirm - they are closed until Jan 2!! I think it will sink in more once I hear it from them

I had no symptoms before getting BFP on either of my pregnancies. The only symptom was absence of usual AF symptoms!

I have a hard time dealing with DR explaining how late I OV'd with bubs

I didnt have really strong symptoms but subtle, my def. pregnancy sign is always that my veins on my chest really stand out and are blue'er, that is what made me test early!

Ah no, jan 2? What a drag! You must be so eager to get a move on. I know I would be. That's one really nice thing about seeing a fertility specialist is that they are always open and want you to come in right away when you get your bfp! That I like! The surgery/constant ultrasounds/ blood taking not so much... GL!

And congrats again to all the new comers! So exciting, I love this thread cause there is so much happy mommies! The ttc threads can get a little sad but I love sores girls too.

Chocolate, have a friend who is the same with the bb veins! Funny that, I didn't have anything noticeable with my bb's the last pregnancy. Not until about 6 weeks then they started killing me. My bras hurt!

Medzi, I get that zero appetit too. But I seem to get that every month after ov! I think it must be the progesterone surge?

Polaris, I like the idea of having no symptoms and still getting a bfp! I have it in my head that it will feel different and you just never know huh?

I'm still only 5dpo! Going nuts!! bet you guys don't miss the 2ww!

Only symptoms I had were sore boobs and wanting to eat 24/7, but I did have this niggling feeling in November we were going to get a BFP

I watched my cycle like a nut in october. All the beginning of november I was testing at what should have been 10 dpo I finally got a bfp on nov 28 but was only 4 weeks when I found out so either I had a long cycle in october and got pregnant on cd 33 or I just didnt ovulate at all in october and finally did in nov. I was trying so hard to watch my cycle cause we are trying for a girl since I have 3 days. I used this calender to show when I got pregnant and it says between nov.15-22 problem is I have no Idea when we had sex and how close we had sex to ovulation its exhausting!
