Queen Mother's, Glasgow - anyone going there?

Are there any girls on here who are going to the Queen Mum's in Glasgow?

I'm in the early stages and the doc says they'll send me a 'pack' but it might be 'a couple of months'. I just wondered if anyone else has been to the QM who can maybe fill me in a little on there general process?

I cant really help out much,but my friend had her baby there last year. She was in for an induction after being 10 days over and they too the 'mince' so to speak. The kept telling her not to eat as she was going to be induced, and there was a good chance it would end in c-section...this went on for 3 days im sure before she told them she was walking out unless the induced her..She got to the ward door and they told her she would most definately be induced within a few hours.

But other than that she liked it. Said the staff were kind n friendly and she had a room on her own, some women like that, others dont though. Im not sure if she was given or requested it x
