Question about Clearblue Digital opks

Hope someone can help! I had a 43day cycle last month as I just came off the bcp...I started taking vitex hoping it will be shorter this month.
Currently on cd10 and I started doing cheapie opks I got from eBay on cd8 and nothing yet. I received my 20 pk of Clearblue digis today so my question is.... Should I start them today?? I don't know if il have anther 43 day cycle and then might be a waste starting today....but I might have shorter cycle and don't want to miss it! Confused

Firstly, how long is an average cycle for you? how long is your LP?

I don't know to be honest....was on pill for a long time before I had my son then went back onto it after. Last cycle was the first in a long time!
Guess it can't hurt to start today right...don't want to miss the surge
