Question about clomid mood swings

Are the mood swings associated with clomid usually during the first half of the cycle, when your hormones are ramping up, or can it include the whole cycle?
I'm 7 dpo and I'm a basket case. I can cry at the drop of a hat.

Clomid made me super ovulate so my progesterone level was really high in the 2ww and thats when my mood swings were bad.
