Hi all! Hope all ladies and bumpies are well
Just a quick question - If when I have my 38 week appointment my cervix is dilated to 2cm, will the midwife be able to perform a sweep?
This is my 4th bubba, so I assume that my cervix will do the same as my last pregnancy and be 2cm at 38weeks (although I could just be wishful thinking!)
I'm asking because I have GD so they may want to induce me at 38weeks anyway, but I am not allowed the gel or the drip because of my previous section. With my last DD, I had a sweep and 2 days later I had my baby (although she was born at exactly 40weeks) and I would prefer to try and get things going with minimal intervention (if that makes sense!)
Any advice/opinions welcome!!
Thanks xxxxxxx
