Hiya,
I have been for a couple of scans that have shown an endometrioma on my left ovary. I assumed I would be referred to gyno and have to have a lap-I based this on what I have read online.
I spoke to my GP-well 2 of them cos I wanted a 2nd opinion and they both said I dont need a referral or a lap and that its rare to send people for a lap esp as we are ttc? the one I trust more said the fact that they wont do the lap as my periods are regular so therefore am likely to conceive-to be fair we did fall pregnant twice within 6 months (sadly miscarried both) but I dont know if this sounds right, when I look through the forum so many women seem to be saying they are having a lap done to remove endo etc? xx
