Question about first baby bumps ...

Hi

I was just wondering if you have had a baby / babies before, what was the earliest you started to show?

or

If you are pregnant with your first and still in the first trimester, have you started to show already and how far along are you?

My tummy is definitely different, it pokes out more and i cant suck it in at all. I wouldnt say its a baby bump yet as it still wobbles! My shirts don't fit very well and i have bought a few maternity tops because its uncomfortable wearing shirts that are tight round the tum and nowhere else. I can still wear my old trousers i just push the band down.

I look forward to my tum firming up. When i lay down it sticks out and is pretty solid but when i stand or sit its not hard. This is my 1st also. How about you?x

I started showing at about 16 weeks with DS but I put on loads of weight pretty much straight away, had a fair size bump by 4 months and stayed big til 7 when I doubled!

The sane us happening again and I'm already piling it on in my middle and when I breathe in there's def a small bump there already!

12+5 weeks and still no bump my clothes are starting to feel uncomfortable tho!

After I eat I get a big bloat belly, but apart from that I don't look pregnant yet at all. But I am only 9 weeks and it's my first.

With my first it was around 16wks, remember having a bump when i went for my 20wk scan. Now pregnant with number 2 and cant wait to see when i start showing this time!

Yes this is my first, well I think I have a tiny bump emerging - I haven't been eating more than usual and have started to walk for 25 - 35 minutes everyday, and my tummy isn't having the bloating patterns it was having previously, it seems to remain pretty constant throughout the day.

I asked DH what he thought last night and he said there was a little bump and it felt really firm too.

I can't button my jeans anymore so maybe it's starting to grow.

It's not massively noticeable or anything, but I can tell that my waistline has changed definitely.

You're about the same as me - so yours is probably emerging too. x

i didnt get a noticable bump till i was nearly 24 weeks with my 1st, it was madness, i'm 2 stone lighter this time, so hoping to get it sooner.

Ooo cool, I'll have a look at those, I'll try to take some and post them, I'm at work in the office with my boss now, so don't think he's appreciate it - I shouldn't really be on here lol!

Yes that sounds like me, before it would be larger in the evenings when it was bloat, but now it seems to be the same all day and is firm.

Will definitely be more noticeable to you if you had a flat tummy before, you won't be used to seeing the bump when you look down - it's a permanent feature with me now!

from looking at my old pregnancy pictures you can tell on mine when the bloat went to bump which was not till more the 20weeks side, if anyone wants to see i shall share lol

i've had a bump of sorts from 6 weeks its all bloat & constipation but its been impossible to suck in the whole way through, so i've looked quite clearly pregnant unless i wear really baggy clothes. i'm 11 weeks tomorrow and can feel something rubbery just above my pubic bone now, im hoping its my uterus starting to rise out! first baby btw xx

Yes at 11 weeks it will be your uterus rising, I could feel that too, and this week especially just seems to be much bigger than it's been even when I've been bloated. I'm 13 weeks tomorrow. x

With my first baby (who is now 8, ahhh!) I started showing at around 12 weeks.
I'm excited to see when I start showing this time around! I'm so bloaded and eat ALL DAY LONG, I sure do have a belly now hahah. It's a food baby.
