hi,
i'm planning on breastfeeding this baby and after the initial 3 weeks i will start to express at least one feed a day for OH to give to LO, but also if i'm going out i'll most likely express milk to take with me rather than breastfeed out and about (i know some people don't mind but for me i really feel i'd be uncomfortable breastfeeding in public)

i was wondering whether my milk needs to be reheated before being given to LO or if i could just express into a bottle, refrigerate it, then pop it in an insulated bag to take out and give it to LO like that...?

please advise!!! thanks

Depends on the baby. Cold milk gives some babies tummy ache, others are fine.

DS has always had cold expressed milk without any problem.

definitely depends on the baby, also don't worry about prefering to use expressed milk in public, do whatever makes you feel comfortable, i certainly used expressed milk in public with lilly, its only with lucas that i have gained the confidence to feed in public
