Hello ladies.
I hope I'm not imposing too much. I just had a question that you ladies are best equipped to answer.
I plan on trying for my fourth in about 7 months but am really worried. When I was TTC my youngest, we tried for a little over a year. I was actually about to start undergoing fertility testing the cycle I conceived.
Since I started getting my period, they've always been "odd." After having my first, they started getting irregular and long. Fast forward to now (almost 6 years later) and my cycles are an absolute train wreck. They are really long and extremely irregular; my average cycle is 69 days, but they've ranged anywhere from 11 to 80 days in the last two years.
Ive been tested for a thyroid disorder, anemia, and had an ultrasound to check for cysts. Everything came back all clear.
So my question is: since I've already had some difficulty conceiving and theres obviously something wrong with my cycles, would I be able to get referred to a fertility specialist sooner than one year of unsuccessful TTC?
There is a history of endometriosis in my family (my mother had it). Would that make any difference? Also, I'm 22 (23 in May) if that changes anything.
Thank you for any help you can give me.
